Security Officer Patrol Access Control

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a commercial real estate environment by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access control, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors, carrying out security-related procedures and property policies
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, documenting observations and reporting concerns
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and requesting emergency services
• Support access control activities, monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and directing visitors
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to site representatives

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of security-related experience

Nice to Have

• Guard card and/or license
• Customer service experience
• Access control and/or badge experience
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet
