Security Officer - Part-Time Unarmed Rover

About This Role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Rover Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients at a high-traffic government aviation location in Orlando, FL. This role offers the flexibility to build your own schedule and contributes to reducing security-related incidents through routine patrols and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation facility
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or policy violations
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying credentials, and directing people and vehicles according to post orders and site rules
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, coordinating with site personnel, and requesting public responders when needed
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate timely updates to supervision and site contacts

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
