Security Officer - Part-Time Driver

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries by controlling access points, monitoring vehicle and pedestrian entry/exit, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents in a part-time driving role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor sign-in/badge issuance, and directing authorized traffic
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit for automotive locations, managing gate operations and delivery procedures
• Maintain a visible presence at access control posts to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and policy violations
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards and suspicious activity
• Use access control and alarm monitoring systems, documenting events and escalating issues according to procedures
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter
• Complete reports and logs such as shift activity, incident reports, and visitor/vehicle records with clear, accurate details
• Communicate professionally with leadership, site management, and local authorities to support timely incident resolution

Requirements

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC
• A valid driver's license is required
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
