Security Officer - Office Park Patrol

About This Role

As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate locations by monitoring, patrolling, and responding to incidents. You will provide excellent customer service and communication to tenants, visitors, and property staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or vendor access processes.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and follow post orders for escalation and incident response.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs with accurate, timely information.
• Provide directions and general assistance to building occupants, maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with alarm, fire panel, and/or CCTV monitoring when assigned, and coordinate response with site contacts.
• Support special events, move-ins, and/or after-hours activity by providing additional patrol coverage and access control.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision, site contacts, and/or local authorities, using radios, phones, and written reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of security experience

• Pepper Spray Certification
• Handcuffing Certification
• Guard Card/License
• Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
