Security Officer - Office Building Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate by monitoring and patrolling office buildings, deterring security incidents, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at the office location
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential risks
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters
• Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal protocols

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
