About This Role

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will safeguard clients by carrying out security procedures and patrolling designated areas. Your role involves responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and providing exceptional customer service to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities
• Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas, maintaining awareness of the environment and surroundings
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances promptly and accurately to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following instructions and supporting evacuation or medical response efforts as needed
• Interact professionally with guests and staff, providing information or assistance as required while upholding Allied Universal standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience is preferred

Nice to Have

• Customer service experience
• Guard card or license
• CPR or first aid certification
