Security Officer - Morning Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government courthouse location in Menifee, CA. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and respond to incidents to help reduce security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government court facility
• Conduct regular and random patrols of court buildings, interior corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity and potential policy violations
• Control access at assigned posts by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitor flow, and helping maintain orderly entry points in accordance with site rules
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and/or alarms, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and public responders as needed
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers per site requirements

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
