Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

About This Role

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol at Allied Universal in Saint Paul, MN, you will safeguard clients in the Education industry. This role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to service calls, documenting observations, and assisting students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots, and perimeter grounds.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, verify identification and/or authorization when required, assist with keys and/or lock and unlock procedures, and help manage crowd and traffic flow during campus events.
• Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and shift pass-downs using Allied Universal reporting procedures, and communicate observations promptly to supervisors and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age (unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license (for driving positions)
