Security Officer Medical Center

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a medical center environment by conducting patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents. Maintain a visible presence while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to emergencies and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access
• Document observations and incidents according to company and client protocols
• Collaborate with location staff and/or visitors to address questions and provide assistance
• Remain alert to unusual conditions or activities and report findings to appropriate personnel

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles; 18 years of age for unarmed roles (this role is unarmed)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Nice to Have

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet
• Experience with access control or badge systems
• Valid guard card or license
