As a Security Officer in manufacturing, you will safeguard clients by monitoring access points, greeting visitors, and conducting security-related screenings to maintain a secure environment. Your presence helps deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
- Screen individuals entering the location to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and conducting visual inspections
- Communicate clearly with visitors, employees, and/or contractors regarding site policies and procedures
- Document observations and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
