Serve and safeguard clients as an unarmed patrol officer in a logistics and distribution setting. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, providing exceptional customer service and communication to staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
- Monitor and report any irregularities or suspicious activities observed during patrols
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and drivers
- Document incidents and observations in detailed reports according to Allied Universal protocols
- Support access control measures by observing entry and exit points as part of patrol duties
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations or medical situations
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
