About This Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer - Lobby Desk Driver in Newton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings. This role involves front desk responsibilities such as welcoming employees and visitors, managing access control, monitoring cameras, and documenting security-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, contractors, and vendors; verify identification, issue temporary badges, and maintain visitor logs.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and entry devices; report irregular activity and/or maintenance issues.
• Answer and route incoming calls, support employee check-in processes, and communicate directions and/or instructions to visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns per post orders.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
