Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Overnights

About This Role

This role involves safeguarding clients across various industries, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents as an unarmed patrol officer for industrial overnight shifts. The individual will also support access control, respond to alarms, and communicate effectively with site teams and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients in industries like Manufacturing & Industrial
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, completing routine rounds and maintaining a visible presence
• Support access control
• Respond to alarms and/or concerns
• Document observations
• Communicate clearly with site teams and visitors
• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and/or visitors following security procedures and site-specific policies
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking lots, and perimeter fencing
• Monitor access points (gates, guard shacks, entrances) assisting with visitor check-in, driver directions, badge verification, and/or key control
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, including patrol activity logs, access control records, and escalations

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
