As a Security Officer specializing in Hospital ER Patrol, you will safeguard clients in healthcare settings by monitoring, patrolling, and providing essential security services. This role involves responsive incident handling, diligent observation, and clear communication to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings as an unarmed Patrol Officer
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas within a fast-paced healthcare location
• Conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents
• Provide clear communication and customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare buildings, grounds, and perimeters
• Monitor access points and manage visitor flow according to procedures
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns
• Assist clinical and administrative staff with security-related support requests
• Communicate clearly with team members and location personnel via radio/phone
• Complete routine reports, incident reports, and shift logs accurately
• Support emergency preparedness activities by following post orders

Requirements

• Ability to work in a hospital environment with vaccines present
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment
• Proficient in restraining individuals in a hospital environment
• At least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation
• Subject to drug screen
