Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol

About This Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including directing foot traffic, supporting staff with access control requests
• Report irregular conditions at access points
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite leadership and/or public responders as needed
• Complete timely reports, activity logs, and incident documentation
• Communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client representative

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience preferred
