Serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting as a Security Officer, providing front desk coverage during weekends at a busy healthcare location in Jacksonville, FL, ensuring a welcoming presence while managing security operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a healthcare location
• Staff the front desk post, greet and direct visitors, and assist with wayfinding while maintaining a professional, service-focused presence
• Manage access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor badges, and coordinating with clinic personnel for approvals
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and communications systems, and promptly report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and writing detailed incident reports before the end of shift

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
