As a Security Officer in a healthcare center, you will patrol assigned areas, providing customer service to clients and visitors while ensuring the safety and security of the facility. You will respond to incidents and critical situations, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related events.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents as required by site protocols.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits to help to maintain order within the healthcare location.
- Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional duties as assigned based on the specific needs of the healthcare setting.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background investigation.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, if permitted by law.
