As a Security Officer specializing in Government Patrol Rounds, you will safeguard government locations by conducting routine patrols, deterring security incidents, and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will be a vital part of a team that contributes to a culture positively impacting communities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated government locations to deter security-related incidents
- Maintain a welcoming environment through visible presence
- Conduct routine patrols and observe any security-related incidents, hazards, or irregularities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and the public
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Nice to Have
- Handcuffing certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Guard Card or license
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
