As a Security Officer specializing in Government Patrol Rounds, you will safeguard government locations by conducting routine patrols, deterring security incidents, and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will be a vital part of a team that contributes to a culture positively impacting communities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated government locations to deter security-related incidents
• Maintain a welcoming environment through visible presence
• Conduct routine patrols and observe any security-related incidents, hazards, or irregularities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and the public

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Nice to Have

• Handcuffing certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Guard Card or license
• Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
