As a Security Officer - Government Bike Patrol in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences as encountered during patrols.
- Work collaboratively with location staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
- Follow all post orders and instructions from supervisors regarding security-related tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
