Security Officer - Gate Screening Driver

About This Role

This role primarily focuses on providing security and customer service at a government location by managing access points, verifying credentials, and conducting patrols. The officer will also support mobile presence and rapid response across the site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a government location, following security procedures and site-specific policies
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, validating authorization, and issuing temporary credentials
• Maintain visitor and vehicle logs
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and alarm panels, reporting irregular activity and documenting security events
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and assisting emergency responders
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including exterior perimeter and interior common spaces

Requirements

• 1+ years of security experience
• Valid driver's license
• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• 1+ years of security experience
