Security Officer - Flex Roving Patrol

About This Role

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries by monitoring assigned areas and responding to security concerns. This flex part-time role offers an opportunity to build a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and hazardous conditions.
• Control access at vehicle and personnel entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, and directing deliveries.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicating observations to supervisors and client contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• CPR and/or First Aid certification
• A valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
