Security Officer - Flex Retail Patrol Driver

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a retail environment as a Security Officer by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, assisting with crowd control, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating situations
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, observing for unusual activity
• Monitor access points and customer traffic, assist with crowd control during peak shopping periods
• Report maintenance hazards and/or suspicious activity to site management
• Complete required reports such as incident logs and patrol documentation
• Communicate timely updates to site leaders and Allied Universal supervision

Requirements

• 1 year of security-related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of security-related experience

Nice to Have

• Guard card and/or license
• Customer service experience
