Security Officer - Flex Distribution Site Patrol

About This Role

This role involves safeguarding clients at a logistics and distribution site by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents. The Flex Part-Time Security Officer will ensure safety, deter security incidents, and provide customer service to associates, drivers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to associates, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Control access to the property by monitoring gates, entrances, and dock areas, verifying identification and shipping documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting onsite leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Complete reports and logs regarding patrols, access activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to management.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation
• Subject to drug screen
• Ability to obtain required state and/or local licenses prior to employment

Qualifications
