Security Officer - Flex - Distribution Site - Access Control

As a Security Officer specializing in Access Control at a Distribution Site in Fort Worth, TX, you will safeguard clients by managing entry points, verifying credentials, and monitoring activity using computer-based tools. This role offers flexibility to build your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Control access to the distribution location by verifying identification and directing visitors
• Operate the access control post by monitoring entry/exit points and issuing visitor badges
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and report concerns to leadership
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other access control systems to deter unauthorized entry
• Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments, verifying documentation
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
• Document daily activities, access events, and incident details in reports
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures by assisting with access point control and traffic flow
• Communicate professionally with employees, drivers, and guests to provide directions and enforce site rules

Requirements

• 2+ years of security-related experience
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
