Security Officer Flex Armed Patrol Driver

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a government setting as an armed security officer, conducting patrols and responding to incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter security threats.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns
• Control access at designated posts by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing visitors according to site procedures
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or site representatives per post orders

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree
• Armed Guard Card/License
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
