Serve and safeguard clients in industries like Chemical/Petrochemical through access control, patrols, and incident response. This Flex Security Officer role contributes to community safety while offering scheduling flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to deter unauthorized entry and activities
- Verify credentials of individuals entering the premises, following site-specific procedures
- Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions, providing customer service
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following guidelines
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency response teams as needed
- Support adherence to site-specific policies and procedures, particularly for chemical and petrochemical operations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 18 years of age (unarmed roles)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
