Security Officer - Driver Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients as a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Elkton, MD, performing routine patrols and ensuring security at a busy manufacturing and industrial location. This role involves customer service, incident response, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the property perimeter, noting irregular conditions and reporting findings
• Support access control activities by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and directing visitors and contractors
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate timely updates

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Guard Card and/or license
• Customer service experience
• CPR and/or First Aid certification
