Security Officer - Driver Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients as an unarmed driving patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, deterring theft, and responding to incidents at a busy retail location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter
• Observe for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and/or loss prevention concerns
• Help to deter theft and/or disruptive behavior through high-visibility presence and professional engagement
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with store management and/or emergency services
• Complete required reports and activity logs, communicate key information during shift transitions
• Support access control by monitoring doors, receiving areas, and/or restricted spaces

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
