Security Officer - Data Center Patrol Driver

About This Role

As a Security Officer specializing in data center patrol, you will safeguard clients in various industries by performing routine vehicle patrols, ensuring high visibility, and providing professional security services. You will also manage access points and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom via routine foot and vehicle patrols
• Maintain high visibility to help reduce security-related incidents and support employees and visitors
• Communicate clearly, document observations, and work as part of an agile, reliable team
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter routes
• Monitor access points, verify identification, and direct guests to appropriate check-in locations
• Operate and monitor security-related systems such as access control, visitor management tools, radios, and CCTV
• Document shift activity, patrol findings, and incidents in written reports and electronic logs
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, facilities teams, and emergency responders

Requirements

• Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located
• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
