Security Officer - CRE Visitor Screening

About This Role

As a Security Officer - CRE Visitor Screening in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will welcome tenants and visitors, verify credentials, manage guest access, and monitor entry points and cameras for security-related concerns helping reduce unwanted activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and/or coordinating with property management on approved access.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems and report unusual activity, door-forced events, and/or other security-related concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, contacting emergency services when directed, and completing required notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background investigation
• Pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
