This role involves serving and safeguarding clients within a corrections facility as a Security Officer - Part-Time Site Monitor. You will conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and ensure site-specific policies are followed while providing customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
- Perform emergency response activities when appropriate
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
Requirements
- 1 or more years of security-related experience
- Be 21 or more years of age for armed roles (18 for unarmed)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of security-related experience
Nice to Have
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet
- Alarm panel experience
- Access control and/or badge experience
