Security Officer - Correctional Site

About This Role

As a Security Officer at a correctional site, you will safeguard clients by carrying out security procedures, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols to maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience
• Be at least 18 years of age (or 21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Nice to Have

• CPR and first aid certification
• Customer service experience
• X-ray screening experience
• Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
