As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence in a correctional facility. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of security-related experience is required
Nice to Have
- Experience using a computer or tablet
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience with access control and badge systems
