Security Officer - Commercial Lobby Desk

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients as a Security Officer at a commercial lobby desk in Portland, OR. Provide customer service, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location
• Monitor access to the building, verify identification, and assist visitors and tenants as needed
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access
• Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries or concerns
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following company and site-specific guidelines

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience
• Guard card or license
• Customer service experience
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Access control or badge experience
