About This Role

As a Security Officer at a college campus, you will patrol assigned areas to ensure a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors, responding to incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves driving, requiring a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established educational protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual circumstances during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with campus personnel and local authorities as needed.
• Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Maintain a visible presence and uphold a professional demeanor at all times while on duty.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
