Security Officer - Checkpoint Screening

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution setting by monitoring access points, conducting screening procedures, and responding to incidents to support security operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, and drivers at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing traffic flow.
• Inspect and/or screen bags, parcels, and deliveries, documenting findings and escalating irregular items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, staging zones, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen (to the extent permitted by law)
