About This Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer - Campus Walk Patrol in Auburn, AL, you will monitor and patrol an educational campus, deterring security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and uphold the company's values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, providing information, and coordinating with first responders as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter inappropriate behavior and reinforce site policies.
• Interact professionally with all individuals encountered on site, providing assistance and information as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles); 21+ years of age (for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
