Security Officer - Bank Perimeter Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution location by performing unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents while providing customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following security procedures and site-specific policies
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and security-related systems, assist with visitor/vendor check-in, and report access concerns
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources when needed
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written or electronic reports, and communicate updates to leadership

Requirements

• 1+ years of security-related experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of security-related experience

• Access control/badge experience
• Alarm panel experience
