Security Officer - Automotive CCTV Monitor

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in the automotive industry by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine rounds, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. This role involves access control, observing and reporting unusual activity, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by screening visitors, issuing badges, verifying appointments, and directing traffic.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems and document observations, unusual activity, and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, and unauthorized entry attempts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter fencing.
• Support vehicle and transportation operations by checking inbound and outbound trucks and confirming shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports and communicate relevant updates during shift change.
• Provide directions and general assistance, de-escalate conflicts, and elevate concerns to site leadership.
• Follow written post orders, comply with client and Allied Universal policies, and participate in required training.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
