As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, deter security incidents, and respond to alarms and requests for assistance. This role safeguards clients in various industries, primarily government, by ensuring professional and orderly operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by performing security procedures, site-specific policies, and access control at a government corrections location
- Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, grounds, entrances, parking, and perimeter points
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Perform security-related screening and controlled entry functions, verifying identification and monitoring visitor processing
- Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, inspections, and shift activities
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Armed guard card and/or license
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
