Security Officer - Armed Patrol

About This Role

As an Armed Patrol Security Officer, you will safeguard government clients in Castle Rock, CO by patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and ensuring security protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including routine foot and vehicle rounds
• Remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents
• Respond to calls for service, documenting observations
• Communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing customer service
• Provide customer service to a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities
• Perform armed patrol duties by conducting regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor traffic, and documenting entries and exits
• Maintain a professional armed presence by following post orders, completing required reports and logs, and performing weapon and equipment checks

Requirements

• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
• Be 21+ Years of Age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience

Nice to Have

• Valid Firearms Permit
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Handcuffing Certification
