Security Officer - Armed Patrol

About This Role

As an Armed Patrol Security Officer, you will safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings by conducting patrols, controlling access, and responding to incidents. You will maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and report security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, contacting site leadership and/or local emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Operate as an armed patrol officer in accordance with Allied Universal training and post orders, including maintaining required licensing and following weapons handling protocols.
• Control access at gates and designated entry points, verify identification and visitor logs, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and complete detailed reports.

Requirements

• 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience
• Armed Guard Card and/or License
• 21+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
