Security Officer - Armed Foot Patrol

About This Role

As an Armed Foot Patrol Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence and responding to concerns. This role involves controlling access, conducting armed patrols, and completing detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, trailer yards, dock doors, and perimeter fencing.
• Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors, including verifying identification, managing sign-in processes, and directing traffic flow.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying leadership and/or emergency services when required.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrol activities, access events, and incidents.
• Assist with monitoring cameras and alarms as assigned by site procedures.

Requirements

• 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience
• Armed Guard Card and/or license
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Baton Certification
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet
