Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients at financial institutions as an armed security officer, conducting patrols and responding to incidents. This role supports a culture that positively impacts communities and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the interior, exterior, perimeter, parking areas and/or access points, with regular and random patrol patterns based on site needs
• Monitor access control and visitor management processes, including screening, verifying credentials, controlling entry to restricted areas and documenting entries and exits as required
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with on-site leadership and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed
• Complete timely security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or client contacts and assist with investigations of theft, fraud-related activity and/or policy violations

Requirements

• 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• CPR certification
• Customer service experience
