Security Officer - Apartment Complex Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, deterring security incidents, and responding to calls for assistance in an apartment complex. This role involves documenting observations, assisting with access control, and partnering with onsite teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of government buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Provide clear directions to individuals on site and notify appropriate personnel as needed
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation
• Communicate observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or location contacts
• Support investigations by preserving relevant information

Requirements

• 2 years of security-related experience
• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
