Security Officer Access Control Post

About This Role

This Security Officer role is responsible for safeguarding clients at a Distribution Center, covering access control, patrols, and incident response. This position requires maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site associates, vendors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security procedures and location-specific policies
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site leadership and emergency services as needed
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the Distribution Center, loading/receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter
• Monitor access points and manage visitor and delivery check-in by verifying identification, directing traffic, and documenting entries/exits
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, observe and report unusual conditions, and communicate updates to supervisors

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of security experience or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Customer service experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of security experience or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Loss prevention experience
• X-Ray screening experience
