Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, deterring security incidents, and handling access control and customer service for visitors and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees following site-specific procedures and post orders at a technology location
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to identify unusual activity or access concerns
• Control access by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor check-in/out, and directing authorized personnel to correct areas
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed
• Complete detailed patrol activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations during shift handoff

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age (for armed roles) or 18+ years of age (for unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
