Security Guard - Perimeter Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence. This part-time role offers scheduling flexibility and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology and communications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or public resources as directed
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying authorization and documenting activity per site requirements and post orders
• Complete detailed reports and maintain logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to site contacts and supervision

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age (unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level

Nice to Have

• Access Control and/or Badge Experience
• CPR Certification
• Alarm Panel Experience
• Loss Prevention experience
• X‐Ray Screening Experience
