Security Guard Flex - Commercial Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate locations by conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. This part-time Security Guard Flex role offers flexibility and opportunities for career growth within North America's leading security and facility services company.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards encountered during patrols
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site management
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, offering assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by management and Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Nice to Have

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds
• X-ray screening experience
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Access control or badge experience
