Security Guard - Commercial Real Estate Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate locations by monitoring and patrolling properties, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols or while on post
• Communicate and collaborate with property management, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and support a secure environment
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote adherence to property policies

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• A guard card or license
• Customer service experience
